Um.... this show never happened, but it ended up causing a lot of confusion among my students because of its name. This was not planned to be a normal student recital. I had decided not to do a regular recital that year, because of having just done a lot of shows. I was burnt out and didn't have the energy. Brett and Brandon Mallard and I were trying to start up a new company together which we were calling "New England Academy of Music and Drama", or NEAMD. Somebody had the idea to do a revue type show to raise some money so that NEAMS could put on a "real" production later that year. As a joke, I said, "Why don't we call it 'Showstoppers-The Directors' Cut'?" (Because it sounded like it was basically going to be like a regular Showstoppers recital, except open to everybody who wanted to audition, and we were the three Directors") Well, anyway, the show never happened because we didn't have the rights to do the music we wanted to do, and to purchase the rights would have been extremely expensive so the show was canceled. So much for that.

I'm pretty sure Stagecoach productions rose with ideas from the now-deceased NEAMD, and Stagecoach did successfully launch with Jane Eyre.
