Uh, well I was in it! Until this year, VI was my favorite one. Into the Woods, Ragtime, Phantom.... who could have topped that? WE DID!

In case anybody wonders, the entire program of SSVI included selections from "Beauty & the Beast", "Bye-Bye Birdie", "Into the Woods", "Titanic", "Miss Saigon", "Ragtime" plus about 5420 solos!

Nice? yes. But another word also comes to mind..............LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. The program went over 3 hours long! People were nearly fainting in their seats, lol. I will never ever do that kind of recital again! Never. Ever.

Speaking of "sucks".... I'll never ever forget how I heard one mother telling her daughter that she "sucked" that night. The kid broke down and cried, and quit lessons a few weeks later. Now THAT is a toxic parent! Poor kid.... (beautiful voice, loverly girl...bitch of a mother)
